Accrington and Iterpro announced their multi-year partnership, which sees Iterpro recognised as the Official Technical Supplier and front-shirt sponsor for the entire club’s Academy.
Iterpro is a London-based company that supplies the most advanced football intelligence platform in the industry, a technology that enables top sports clubs to streamline their communication and workflow, optimize the players’ performance and manage their injury risk, identify talents and provide a clear view of the clubs’ return on investment.
Accrington will equip its academy staff and teams with a powerful digital framework to consolidate their daily ground operations and teams management cross-departments, from the team management, technical, sport science & performance, medical and scouting departments.
Every club member will be able to access all the relevant information from a centralized platform to plan, share and manage teams’ training, player wellness and recovery process, assessments, tactical analysis, tracking data, player development and scouting.
Every Accrington staff member and player will access a dedicated app (Iterpro Player, Coach, Director App) that will boost their communication, give them access to crucial insights at their fingertips, and engage with the players.
Duncan Fearnhead, Accrington’s Academy Manager said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to work with Iterpro which will bring cutting-edge technology to our Academy and First Team operations. The technology is a fantastic resource and will allow us to align processes across the whole Football Club. It gives us an opportunity to work more collaboratively and really simply share data from one department to another.
When working with a small staff as we do, efficiency is vital and Iterpro can certainly help us manage the workload as well as improve the effectiveness of the work we do.
From a Medical & Performance Support perspective, our staff will have access to all relevant information from a centralised platform to plan and review sessions, manage training loads, player wellness, and improve our player game availability. Having our players available as often as possible is vitally important and using insights from Iterpro will certainly help us achieve this.
Our Recruitment & Talent ID department will be able to accurately record player assessments which can easily be shared with the relevant staff, as well as being able to record benchmark data. This data can then be used to inform practices in the Academy, improving the development of players in our care and help us to create an improved pathway from the Academy to the First Team.
We look forward to the benefits that this partnership between Accrington Stanley and Iterpro will bring to our staff and our players.”
Chris Hough, Accrington’s Academy Football Operation Director said: “I am thrilled about our new partnership with Iterpro. Their comprehensive platform will provide our Academy and First Team departments with a powerful digital framework to streamline communication and recruitment processes, optimise player performance, and manage injury risk. It will also allow us to consolidate our micro and macro football operations and management across multiple departments, making our processes more efficient and effective. The ability to access all relevant information from a centralised platform will enhance our decision-making processes and enable us to improve player development, talent identification, and injury management and rehabilitation. We are confident that this partnership can have a significant impact on our club’s football operations, and we are excited to see what the future holds for ourselves and Iterpro.”
Marco Savino, Chief Executive of Iterpro added: “We are so excited to start this journey with this forward-thinking club and its amazing people who are relentlessly looking to stay ahead of the curve through constant innovation. That’s why I believe that our missions are so closely aligned”
