Thrilled to share the latest chapter of “Iterpro Behind the Stage” realized with our longstanding partners, Malta FA, with whom we have collaborated for over four years on a transformative digital journey across the entire federation and supporting them in achieving significant milestones on and off the field.
The Case Study shows how Malta FA’s football operations have been impacted by Iterpro Sports Intelligence, and how such digital infrastructure can help streamline communication and workflow across all staff members and national teams.
Malta FA demonstrated with concrete results that even a tiny federation can achieve a competitive edge by investing in innovation and making sure that people and processes are aligned to the technical project. The FA’s management has been forward-thinking in setting up the best work environment for their teams and staff members, starting from centralizing and facilitating real-time information sharing among departments, and aids in comprehensive player management.
The overall framework covers several areas, from injury risk management to optimising player performances and game analysis. On another angle, applied on several national teams age groups, the platform allows the FA to connect them and run talent development and talent ID operations in a data-driven approach, not only optimising the player pathways from the academy to the first team, but also scouting, monitoring and recruiting young players from individual football clubs.
Thanks to everyone contributing to this amazing case study and for the collaboration over the years. Special thanks go to Malta FA’s General Secretary, Angelo Chetcuti, as well as the Head Coach Michele Marcolini, Performance Department Coordinator Luca Pagani, Medical Coordinator Daniel McKean, and Head of Match Analysis Facundo Styk, for their amazing testimonials.
